At Williams Consulting Services, our focus is on fundraising consultation with United Church of Christ (UCC) Churches in New England.
All of us have served in the past as Stewardship Consultants for the Mass Conference, UCC.

Ours is a faith-based approach to church fundraising and together we bring hands-on experience, training skills, data base management and analysis experience, an understanding of human nature, and a commitment to what we see as our ministry - helping churches succeed in raising annual and capital funds while building the faith-community.

This site offers you the opportunity to learn more about Williams Consulting Services, founded by Margery Williams in 1994. We specialize in church capital campaigns, feasibility studies, annual giving, year-round finanaical stewardship, and mission development.

Although many of our churches' members are very resistant to becoming active in "stewardship activites," it is a proven fact that a strong fund raising program in our churches produces that which we never dreamed possible -- not only funds (often overwhelming) to accomplish the tasks we set out to accomplish; but even more surprisingly a deeper, stronger community faith, and a solid foundation on which to carry the church forward for many more years.

This is the joy to be discovered in a well-run fund raising program, which overcomes our reluctant vision of people not rising to the challenge of giving, and the fear of asking for money. We are overwhelmed by God's generosity to us, God's patience with us, and the depth of God's abiding love for us. For finally, we understand what it really means to be stewards.

We believe every church should conduct a meaningful annual stewardship program EVERY year, plan and execute a year-round stewardship education program, and offer a joyful challenge to the congregation to unite in the work of a capital campaign every 8-10 years. Together, we build upon the foundation which Jesus assigned to Peter, and together we come to a stronger understanding of the work which Jesus would have us do.
